Gay teen suicide is a serious problem, and societal disapproval of gay teens and misguided attempts to cure them are an ongoing disaster.
Only the eternally irreverent South Park could find a way to take all that and make it into something funny, even if in a tragic “holy crap” kind of way. And as a disclaimer, because this is offensive to Christians who still hold tight to these attitudes, I am a survivor of gay cure therapy attempts, and I wouldn’t have survived without a sense of humor about it.
